Why isn't CPT code 22854 an add on code to CPT codes 63082 and 22585? When looking under CPT code 22854 in the CPT book - it does not say to use in conjunction with 63082 and 22585.
 
The 2 codes you reference are add-on codes. Check to see if the 22854 can be used with the primary code. That is what you are interested in.

For instance 22854 & 63082 are add on codes for 63081 so all 3 can be billed together.
 
Thank you for your response. Why isn't 22585 listed to use in conjunction with 22854 since it is an add on code for 22554-22558? Thank you!
