We are having a time with the 61635 CPT code either being rejected or denied and Medicare is not giving us a straight answer on the rejection or denial. Any help out there would be greatly appreciated. The rejection just stated they are denying the charge due to they want the description of the code and when we try and send the claim in with the description they still deny it. Then we were told that they want in box 19 "additional info upon request" and that they would then send us an ADR letter and then we would submit medical records and then the charge would be paid. That was fine, but they stopped sending the ADR letters and now I can't get the charge processed. It is not an NOC code and it is on the MCR fee schedule so I am not sure what the issue is with this code. Anyone else having this issue??
