I'm coding for a provider that frequently performs extraforaminal decompressions for Stenosis-which include a foraminotomy AND a facetectomy only-no laminectomy. I was thinking about using 63047-52 but was told 63056 would be more appropriate. I thought that 63056 was for Herniated Disc? What would be the correct coding in this scenario-a decompression that includes only include a foraminotomy AND facetectomy? Thank you
