Good morning all,
I have a difficult one: physician does a hammer toe (cpt 28285) and a wound debridement, necrotic tissue down to layer of distal phalanx (cpt 11043) and then stated the distal phalanx was then partially resected. This is my dilemma: I cannot use cpt 28160 as she resected distal phalanx not proximal. I then looked at cpt 28153 but she stated partially resected and that looks like a full resection. So was going with 28124 and am looking for confirmation of this route. Thank you all for your input
