Does anyone know how to code for removal of silicon intubation tubes from the lacrimal system? One surgeon uses the same code as inserting the tubes 68815 since there is no removal code and one surgeon uses 68899, unlisted procedure. It has been a 1 1/2 years since tubes were placed and this is an ASC setting. I would appreciate any input. Thanks:confused:
