CT-guided disk aspiration

History- Widened disk space L3/4 with collapsing and plates possible
diskitis

CT guidance utilized. Xylocaine utilized for local anesthesia. A
dual placed within the L3/4 disk space an aspiration obtained. This
was given to pathology division. Patient tolerated the procedure well
and was returned to his room post procedure without known adverse
sequelae. Attending physician advised of the above findings upon
completion of the procedure.
