Procedure performed:
1. Placement of biological mesh 2x4 cm times 2.
2. Closure of fistula of the groin.
Procedure in detail:
The patient was placed in the supine position. Time-out and confirmation of the patient, procedure, and consent was done. IV conscious sedantion done. Betadine prep. Sterile towels and linens placed. The fistula of the left groin was identified. Two biological meshes, each cut in half by the ______ 2 x 4 cm each were placed in the fistula. Suture closure with 4-0 nylon vertical mattress sutures. Tolerated well. Telfa and 4 x 4 dressing applied. Returned to the recovery room in satisfactory condition.
