Wiki CPT Coding for the Transfer of care from the Floor to the NICU by the Rounding Provider.

Iam certified Coder but i got confused on one thing. The provider rounded on the newborn on day 1 and he transferred the baby to NICU. The provided made a note on the face sheet that the baby is transferred to NICU. What CPT Code should be used here??
99460 & 99477??? Are these correct. I work for a Private Practice and the provider is Pediatrician.

Any Valuable input is greatly appreciated.

Hello,i would say 99460 if the pediatrician just doing hospital round and transfer sick baby to NICU. not sure if there is a different code to report the additional time the pediatrician had spent on sick newborn
