hello all

quick question if patient was discharged from hospital and did follow-up with different clinic. but that clinic send our clinic the record of that follow up visit. so can we bill for 1111F code to insurance ?
please help
 
Does the patient carry Medicare? Here is a link to a CMS resource about 1111F. I have seen many of these being denied as not qualifying. I don't see that it would be an issue if you have documentation and your provider is the one doing the medication reconciliation. However, I would take a look a this resource to be sure that your patient has met all criteria. 1111F - CMS Resource Page
