Hi,

Can someone tell me if a modifier 59 can be used on CPT 65875 which is inclusive with CPT 66984. A modifier 51 was used on the initial claim and I know that modifier 59 can only be used under certain circumstances.

65875 INCISE INNER EYE ADHESIONS

Code 65875 is a component of Column 1 code 66984 but a modifier is allowed in order to differentiate between the services provided.

How ever Not knowing what the op report says I would imagine that it would have to be for seperate eyes?:)
