I am debating between getting my COC or CRC. I am leaning more towards the CRC but it seems as though finding a remote coding job as a COC would be a lot easier. Is this true? I don't want to take the CRC course and then have a hard time finding a job with that certification.

Check out some job listings

Do you have any other certifications or experience? If you don't have any coding experience it will probably be easier to get a job in risk adjustment than outpatient facility coding. I suggest looking at coding jobs in your area or remote positions in risk adjustment and outpatient facility coding and see what the requirements are. I believe employers looking for risk coders are more likely to hire those who don't have a lot of experience than those looking for facility coders.
