I'm a part of a new private mental health practice. I have been able to secure some contracts through the agency name. The two counseling providers are already credentialed with all of the Medicaid managed care companies through other employers. However, some MCOs are saying there's no room in their network and deny contracts under the agency name.
My question is, could we still bill the MCOs for mental health services since the providers are individually contracted? Or does the agency also have to be contracted?
