I am a biller in a Critical Access Hospital. Recently, we had a swingbed patient go by ambulance to another facility to have a procedure done. My question is: Since the patient was swingbed at my facility, do I need to have the other facility and ambulance service bill my facility so I can bill the services on the patients swingbed claim?
