Wiki Critical care billing after a major cardiac surgery

Does anyone have any experience regarding patients in critical care ICU after a major cardiac surgery with a 90 day global, and being able to bill critical care by a different specialty (taxonomy) in the same medical group? Example a CT Surgeon does a major surgery and then a hospitalist is doing the critical care coverage after the surgery. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
