can you charge for critical care time as an inpatient?

you can bill for cc for ER, outpt and inpt and ICU... the pt does not have to be in ICU in order to bill 99291 and 99292. Your CPT states the guidelines and what services are bundled in with cc. Make sure your provider documents the start and stop time. And time does not have to be "continuous".
