Has anyone in the derm world ever coded method destruction cryo for removing a splinter? Our provider states the skin will bubble and it will force the splinter out. Would CPT 17110 be appropriate for this? Thank you.
 
I would say no due to it wasn't a lesion. For a non-incisional removal from skin or subq it is part of the E/M level per 3m encoder nosology
