My practice just started billing for Abdominal CT Scans. We will be billing for the complete scan as we have our own CT and Radiologist on staff.
Do I need any modifier? Or do I just bill the single CPT code?
I billed 74176 alone with no modifier and my provider is questioning the low reimbursement so we are wondering if it was billed incorrectly.
In addition when billing oral contrast do we bill anything additional?
