Can anyone please advise what CPT code would be used for the below report? Some here are saying 76380 (CT Limited or Localized Chest) and others are saying 75571 (CT Heart). ANY help will be appreciated.
Clinical history:
XX year old male being evaluated for TAVR andtransapical approach. CT is requested for the apex skin surface marking.
Technique:
Limited noncontrast chest CT of the chest was performed with the arms beside patient and marking grid in supine place. Images were also obtained for upper chest to determine the course of the LIMA graft
Finding:
LV apex skin surface marking done. The LV apex is approximately 5.2 cm from the skin surface. There is no intervening lung between LV apex and chest wall although a rib is in the way between marked skin and LV apex.
The LIMA graft is in the left paramediastinal location and do not cross the mid line. The right internal mammary vein is dilated as seen draining into the SVC.
