My doctor does a lot a surgerys. He then puts the patients on Cumadin to prevent blood clotting. He wants to charge medication management for these patients. We have a difference of opinion on whether we can bill for this during the post op period. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Coumadin is a very dangerous blood thinning drug - it requires constant management. Patients need to have their protime checked regularly when they're on it (or other meds like it). Your provider can charge the protime checks if that's what he's doing to monitor the coumadin.
{that's my opinion on the posted matter}
