Wiki Cysto w/pelvic exam

Provider did a cysto - removed the scope - then performed a pelvic exam using speculum. what cpt code is used to bill the pelvic - or is is not billable.

Pelvic exam is not billable unless anesthesia is used. If anesthesia is used (other than local ) use 57410 for the pelvic exam. Hope this helps.

correct, pelvic exam is not billable if local anesthesia is used, but you can bill for the scope

side note. CPT 57410 is not allowed with 52000
