What CPT? Op note states: Sharp dissection was carried out over the insertion of the Achilles Tendon. Significant scar tissue was noted as well as significant amount of bursitis fluid. The bursa was noted to be quite inflammed. This was sharply excised with a fresh 15 blade. Local debridement was performed of the calcaneal soft side of the tendon. Holmium retractors were then placed around either side of the calcaneus and an oscillating saw was then used to remove a Haglunds deformity.
Diagnosis is Insertional Achilles Tendonitis and Haflunds deformity. I use 28118 for the Haglunds Deformity but an not sure about the tendonitis/bursitis. Would that be included with 28118?
Any help is much appreciated. thanks,
