I work out on the base and I need help with a note. We have never seen this before and I'm lost.
Debridemnt and split thickness skin graft, 1 to 1.5 15/1000ths of an inch from the right anterior thigh to the left leg follwed by placment of a VAC.
This is a patient with black eschar which was debrided and eventually VAC was placed.
The patient had debridement with a curette of the granulation tissue, hemostasis and measurement 5x26cm. A meshed graft was taken 5x26 in 2 seperate areas of th eright thigh. This was meshed 1 to 1.5. the skin graft was then placed in several sections down on, trimmed and stapled, followed by hospitalist and the VAC dressing was placed.
