Wiki decision for spine surgery but patient chooses conservative recommendations

Best answers
please help-

If the provider sees the patient and gives all recommendations for treatment including surgical intervention but the patient chooses not to go the surgical route are the follow up visits for the conservative care treatment included in the original visit when the provider offered surgical intervention. some of these patients may not chose to have any surgery until all conservative measures have been exhausted which in some cases take up to a 1yr....

Thank you!!
I don't see a reason the patient would be in a "global" period until a procedure that has a "global" is performed.
There will be a new decision for surgery should conservative measures fail and patients wishes to pursue surgical intervention again. So no global period has started.
