When studying for specialty certifications and when learning new areas of coding, I come across phrases like: "Understand the definition of incomplete and complete abortion." Or maybe I need to know exactly what WHO means by "traffic accident" versus "nontraffic accident." I can find definitions of types of abortion on the Internet, but how can I be certain that's what WHO wants me to use? I actually found a document on the Internet published by WHO that described exactly the difference between traffic accident and nontraffic accident and contacted them to find more resources like that. I never heard back. Does anyone know of a WHO definition resource? Thank you.

Most of this coding assignment is based on knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology. As you stated, Incomplete vs complete easily be looked up in a medical dictionary. WHO doesn't redefine medical terms. Other things like the definitions for transport accidents are actually directly in the ICD-10-CM manual.
