Is there a specific specialty or license the Doctor needs to be able to bill Mental Health & SUB RTC, PHP & IOP? I thought they needed to be psych
 
Physician scope of practice is regulated at the state level, so the answer to this question could vary from place to place. You would need to contact the physician board of licensure or review the regulations in the state where the physician is practicing in order to know for sure what the limitations of a license are.
