I need help with the CPT for the above. Pt diagnosis is Distal radius fracture nonunion and symptomatic hardware. Pt having hardware removed also. Brief description is as follows:
..a longitudinal incision was performed. The plate was identified and removed. The nonunion site was noted and cleaned with a curette. Decision was made to not restore anatomic alignment due to the high risk of persistent nonunion. Previous incision was utilized. The nonunion site was identified. The demineralized bone matrix rasp was then placed both dorsally and volarly and complete filling of the fracture site was noted.
