the provider has done this procedure 11042 on the right upper eyelid and right lower eyelid , was denied because it was billed as 2 unites?
any suggestions?

11042 Debridement, subcutaneous tissue (includes epidermis and dermis, if performed); first 20 sq cm or less

Is that the procedure that was performed, or was it a typo in your original post? Just trying to clarify.

If that was the code billed, note that it is based on the size of the wound debridement.
