We are out of network with Aetna so we call for pre-cert to request in net benefit level, as we are the only pain management provider within 100 miles. When a patient is seen by our PA they will not cover at in net benefit level but if the patient is seen by our supervising physician it is covered at in net benefit level. At Aetna they tell us to bill under the supervising physician, is that ok to do?
