What ICD codes are appropriate to use for a child coming in for an Initial
Exam, and if a Dental Carie is found. Can 52100 be the primary Diagnosis?

I am not familiar with dental codes, but if there is a dx for an annual dental exam, i would use that primary followed by the carie dx.
