Good morning! I am working in an ASC and we are starting to do some dental procedures in house. Since this is all new to us, does anyone know of classes that I can take to help me learn how to do the coding correctly for insurance companies to pay?
Thanks!

I would recommend getting a current CDT code book. This is the American Dental Association's version of a CPT. I would also look for CDT / CPT crosswalks as there are times when you would bill the Medical insurance vs the Dental insurance. I took a dental coding course several years ago and do have dental coding certification. That being said I work for a FQHC and do not currently do dental coding. I would recommend review coding information on the ADA website ( https://www.ada.org/en/publications/cdt/coding-education ) if possible s well as reviewing you payer sites and polices on the procedures that will be done.
