I need some help please. I code for a home health agency. I have been asked about the code for Incontinence-associated dermatitis (IAD). I thought that I remember sometime back this coming across my desk and the code that I used was Diaper Dermatitis L22. But, I am being questioned in regards to this. Now I am looking at either L24.89 Irritant contact dermatitis due to other agents OR L24.5, Irritant contact dermatitis due to other chemical agents. Also, was wondering what you would use for Periwound Moisture-Associated Dermatitis and peristomal moisture-associated dermatitis. Would these be unspecified or would you use L30.4. Any help is greatly appreciated.
