Any thoughts on the reliability of DermCoder? A coworker is relying on this for factual information. The AAPC has different information. Example: she thinks (destruction) 17000 can only be billed with (actinic keratosis) L57.0. I went to Codify and found this to be not true. Any opinions?

We use it and trust the guidance. The QuickCheck function is very helpful for modifier placement. As far as 17000, this is only for pre-malignant lesions (example L57.0) I am not sure what other DX would be appropriate. Other destructions would be 17110-17110 (benign)
