:confused:Hello all,

I have a 60 yr old patient that was seen in our oncology clinic for High risk of breast CA, due to DES exposure. DES was a birth control that was utilized back in the 1940's. Now this patient is a high risk for CA because she took this birth control drug back in the 40's. If anybody has ever encountered this diagnosis, I would much appreciate some feedback. Can't find a diagnosis code for this.

Thanks,
Kristen

She was exposed in untero

If she's 60 years old she did not take the drug. She was exposed as a fetus when her mother took the drug.

Sorry, I don't know the dx code ... have you considered the special screening Dx V76.1x?
