Hello!
I am helping a Developmental Pediatrics office with the DX coding. By in large, their patients are NICU grads at high risk for developmental delays, etc. When they come for a visit with symptoms, or their developmental screening uncovers an issue, the diagnosis coding is straightforward.
The problem comes when the child is actually on track with developmental milestones. We can't use the V20 codes because then their PCP visits will get denials.
Any thoughts would be welcome!
Thank you!
