I'm an orthopedic coder who was recently asked to find some codes for an internal medicine doctor.
This doctor is wanting to start doing a diabetic clinic a couple times throughout the week and is wanting to know what CPT codes she would need to use.
The main thing she plans on doing is individual and group sessions for medical nutrition therapy.
She gave me some specific codes to question... G0108, G0109, G0270 and 97802. She was also questioning the guidelines for modifier GT. So I dont know if she plans on doing Telehealth also or not.
Anyways... if anyone is able to point me in the right direction so I can start preparing information for her even though she provided me with very limited information, it would be greatly appreciated.
