I am trying to get guidance on the HCPCS diabetic education training codes S9140, S9141, S9455, S9460, and S9465 for non government payors.* Specifically, can a nurse bill for multiple codes for one session such as S9140 and S9460?* I would think that only code would be appropriate. I also am wondering if the HCPCS code S9140 follow up visit to non-MD represents a mid-level provider? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
