I have a provider CRSW license in NH that is trying to bill code 90853 Group Counseling with the diagnosis code Z69.12. The claim is being denied for the diagnosis code. The rep on the phone suggested I rebill the claim with a behavioral health diagnosis??? I think that this provider type cannot bill this diagnosis code, but not positive. Any help would be appreciated.
