I need help finding a diagnosis for spindle cell neoplasm for a biopsy of the skin right shin.
 
I don't think you have enough information here to assign a code - you would need to know if the neoplasm is malignant, benign, uncertain behavior, etc. Do you have a copy of the report or can you give the text of the physician's interpretation of the pathology?
 
By my reading of this, the pathologist is unable to determine definitively if this is a benign or malignant lesion. Since they have identified it as a neoplasm, I would code it as a neoplasm of uncertain behavior and use ICD-10 code D48.5.
