Diagnossis check for cardiac cath for listed transplant patient

Hi all,

Is it appropriate to bill the cardiac cath with dx Z94.1 (heart transplant status) when the patient is undergoing routine surveillance while the patient is waiting for the transplant or is Z94.1 reserved only for patients that already received the transplant?
