Radiologist is trying to bill a diagnostic bilateral mammo, then he performed a biopsy and placed a marker. Following the placement, he performed a unilateral mammo to verify the placement. Is there a modifier that would accurately represent this? Is he not allowed to bill the unilateral mammo, all performed on the same day?
