I have a patient that I have gotten an EKG on for medication monitoring. He was diagnosed with candidiasis in his nephrostomy tube and placed on diflucan. However, he is already on amiodarone and the combination of that and diflucan can cause QT prolongation - which is why I ordered the EKG. I have a form requesting a diagnosis code for this. I can't find "medication monitoring" or "QT prolongation," what should I use? Thank you!
