IS it appropriate to bill a dialysis run (90935) and a subsequent E/M for the same specialty on the same day for a inpatient stay (99231 - 99233) with a modifier? Is there any verification out there besides the cpt book?
 
I also need clarfication. My provider was called for a consult while the patient was receiving HD 90935 due to hypervolemia. Is it appropriate to bill E/M and 90935 is provider only documents the consultation? Thank you

Can someone clarify? If my provider is called in to see a patient in the hospital and he is not the MCP provider. what do we bill for the visit in the hospital?
