HELP! Our Clinic has recently added another nephrologist to staff. Both Physicians see dialysis patients at the local dialysis clinic. One physician saw pts only one day. The 2nd physician saw 3-4 visits. Do I bill the 90962 code for the first physician and the 90960 visit for the second physician or combine visits for one code only. I think I should devide because services are provided by different physicians. Any help is appreciated!:confused:

According to Medicare the physician that does the complete/comprehensive assessment for the month is the one that bills for the charge even if the patient was seen by multiple physician/practitioners in the same group practice. So there will only be one code billed.
