I know I have asked this before but I cannot find the response. If a dialysis patient comes to the office to see a provider that is also MCP provider and sees him/her for evaluation of infection of graft or access would this be considered part of the MCP charge that is done each month? No other diagnosis is documented other than redness or infection of site. This type of visit is being done in the office on a regular basis. I have not been charging but I am second guessing myself since I am seeing so many of them. I have reviewed the sheet on what is included in MCP and this seems to me to be included. Thanks so much for any response.
