I need some guidance. I am at a new office and there is one physician who does not dictate in a timely manner thus not closing his notes in a timely manner. The other biller just sends the claims to the insurance company and has told me to do the same. I say no we can't do that. I am at a loss and need to find it in writing from Medicare that you cannot do this. I have been unable to find anything that states the exact words that you cannot do this. Anybody have anything that they can share?
