colon with snare for polyp, but polyp was not retrieve.
is this still a snare with modifier?

It is always not necessary for a polyp to be retreived.If Snare has been used code it fully to 45385 only.

Why were no polyps retreived? Were there complications? If no polyps were retreived, then the procedure was not completed. If there were complications you would need to append modifier 53.
