What is everyone using to code for deep inferior epigastric perforator breast recons? My surgeon trained in LA and they were using a HCPCS code, but is there a CPT code that better describes the procedure? Do any of you have any expereince with the way payers are paying the codes you are using, or have you had discussions with the payer about this procedure?
