Hello all
I am new to this so hopefully I can explain right.
I code for facility and pro fee side for Emergency Depts, I have a chart where one Dr. saw the pt did the hx /ros/exam gave the dx nursemaid's elbow, another ER Dr. came and did the reduction how would you code this for pro fee side? I know this might sound stupid, but you can give the level to the 1st dr and the procedure to the 2nd dr right? Thank you for any and all help it is truly appreciated.

yes, you can give the e&m to the first doc and the actual reduction to the second.

Can you?? I've not heard of that before but I come across it a lot in my ER. Can you please direct me to anything in writing that I can use for documentation of this?
