Anyone familiar with this term? I tried googling it... no luck. I saw it today in a brain MRI report. "Innumerable foci of diffusionopathy through the right
cerebral parasagittal cortical watershed".
 
Even if there is no definition out there we can still figure out what the provider is saying:



-pathy indicates disorder in a particular part of the body


so "diffusionopathy" indicates diffusion "disorder" in a certain part of the body (in this case, the right cerebral parasagittal cortical watershed)


if you google "focal diffusion disorder through the right cerebral parasagittal cortical watershed" you will get results regarding a watershed stroke.
