If a digital block is done before doing an evac of the nail is it inclusive with the 11740 or can it be billed?

64450 is not coded separately when performed as a component of a surgical procedure. If digital nerve block is performed as a stand alone procedure, such as for pain control alone, including post operative pain management, then it can be coded separately.:o
